Inclusion criteria
- a diagnosis of ruptured tumor confirmed by enhanced computed tomography (CT) and/or abdominal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),
- a diagnosis of HCC made by two experienced pathologists
Exclusion criteria
- extrahepatic HCC metastasis
- death within 1 month after surgery
