Inclusion criteria

  • a diagnosis of ruptured tumor confirmed by enhanced computed tomography (CT) and/or abdominal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),
  • a diagnosis of HCC made by two experienced pathologists

Exclusion criteria

  • extrahepatic HCC metastasis
  • death within 1 month after surgery
