Evaluation of an 8-week Behavior Skills-based Virtual Reality Program for Adolescents With Depression. The Program Enrolls Children With Diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder, Through Use of Virtual Reality and Education, We Are Measuring Effectiveness of the Program Through Use of PHQ9-A and GAD7. (MDD)

Healthy volunteers accepted: No

Only the study team can determine whether someone qualifies for participation.

Inclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria

  • A patient that has been started on an antidepressant medication within the last 8 weeks.

We will use a combination of virtual reality experiences and educational experiences.

  1. Virtual Reality use helps teens with depression

    Time frame: 8 weeks

    Using PHQ9 scores, does this program help improve their depression scores?

  2. Virtual Reality use helps teens with anxiety

    Time frame: 8 weeks

    Using GAD7 scores, does this program help improve their anxiety scores?
