After normalizing to average rectified EMG activity (in microvolts) prior to sound stimulation, cVEMP amplitudes (in microvolts) are unitless. Values range from 0 to ~10, with larger values suggesting increased saccule activity and generally indicating better outcomes, except that values above 3.0 suggest abnormally high saccule sensitivity to sound.
