The Registry Study to Compare the Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test Parameters Before and After Cardiac Rehabilitation in Patients With Chronic Total Occlusion of the Coronary Arteries

The aim of this study is to find strategy for treatment through comparing the cardiopulmonary exercise test parameters before and after cardiac rehabilitation in patients with chronic total occlusion of the coronary arteries.

  • Chronic total occlusion of coronary artery disease
  • Cardiac rehabilitation

Treatment and study plan

Cardiac rehabilitation

Behavioral

cardiac rehabilitation in patients with chronic total occlusion of the coronary arteries.

Primary outcomes

  1. Death

    Time frame: 5 year

  2. Myocardial infarction

    Time frame: 5 year

  3. Repeat revascularization

    Time frame: 5 year

Secondary outcomes

  1. Maximum rate of oxygen consumption

    Time frame: 5 year

    maximum rate of oxygen consumption as measured during incremental exercise, most typically on a motorized treadmill.

  2. Respiratory exchange ratio

    Time frame: 5 year

  3. Maximal heart rate

    Time frame: 5 year

  4. Physical activity_METs

    Time frame: 5 year

    Physical activity is measured in metabolic equivalents (METs), which are multiples of the resting rate of O2 consumption.
