Elective cardiac surgery with the use of cardiopulmonary bypass

Exclusion criteria

Patients undergoing emergent procedures
Patients with preoperative mechanical support

Primary outcomes

Change in stroke index

Time frame: day before surgery; first and second day postoperatively
