  • Liver cirrhosis.
  • Consecutive admission.
  • Permitted to physical examinations.
  • Informed consents.

Exclusion criteria

  • Non-cirrhotic portal hypertension.
  • Malignancy.
  • Uncontrolled infection.
  • Severe chronic diseases.
  • Poor patient compliance.
