Knowledge, Attitude, Practice Survey

This study aimed to assess the knowledge, attitude, and practice(KAP) towards infection-control guidelines among undergraduate and postgraduate dental students in Haryana, and to evaluate the incidence of needlestick/sharp injuries along with hepatitis B immunization status. A cross-sectional questionnaire will be administered to 347 students, including 3rd-year students, final-year students, interns, and postgraduates, using a questionnaire comprised of 4 sections demographic data, knowledge, Attitude and Practice

  • BDS students currently studying in 3rd year, final year, students doing internship and postgraduate students in a dental college of Haryana

Exclusion criteria

  • • BDS students studying in first and second year
  • Not willing to participate

    Total knowledge score computed from the answers to questions mentioned under knowledge category

  2. Attitude score

    Time frame: single time point

    Total attitude score based on answers to questions pertaining to attitude category of questionnaire

    Total practice score computed from the answers to questions mentioned under practice category
