The goal of this study is to understand the factors that influence consumers when seeking aesthetic medicine services in Malaysia. The study aims to answer the following questions:
1. What factors influence consumers when seeking aesthetic medicine services? 2. Do sociodemographic factors (such as age, gender, and income) affect these factors? 3. What criteria do consumers consider when choosing a clinic for aesthetic medicine services?

Time frame: at point of enrolment (baseline)
The factors including personal desires, physical concerns, psychosocial influences, social media exposure, influence from others, and significant life events are evaluated through a survey using a Likert scale to assess participants' level of agreement with statements related to the respective factors. Responses are rated on a 5-point scale (1 = strongly disagree, 2 = disagree, 3 = not sure, 4 = agree, 5 = strongly agree).
Time frame: at point of enrolment (baseline)
Sociodemographic data, including age, gender, education level, income, and occupation, are collected through a survey consisting of closed-ended questions with single-response and multiple-response options.

The criteria were identified through a survey comprising items related to factors that may influence consumers' choice of an aesthetic clinic. Participants rated their level of agreement with each statement using a 5-point Likert scale (1 = strongly disagree, 2 = disagree, 3 = not sure, 4 = agree, 5 = strongly agree).
