Comparative effects of functional movement and conventional training on stability, agility and dynamic balance in paddle tennis athletes

this group was perform conventional strength and conditioning exercises focusing on isolated muscle groups, cardiovascular endurance, and static stretching. Sessions will follow a similar frequency and duration.

Time frame: 8 weeks
The Functional Movement Screen (FMS) is a standardized screening tool developed to assess fundamental movement patterns, mobility, motor control, and core stability. It comprises seven movement tasks: deep squat, hurdle step, in-line lunge, shoulder mobility, active straight-leg raise, trunk stability push-up, and rotary stability

The Illinois Agility Test (IAT) is a field-based test designed to assess an athlete's speed, agility, and ability to change direction rapidly.
Time frame: 8 weeks
The Y-Balance Test (YBT) is a performance-based test used to assess dynamic balance and postural control. It requires the athlete to stand on one leg while reaching in three directions-anterior, posteromedial, and posterolateral-with the opposite leg.
