Inclusion criteria

  • aged ≥18 years a clinical diagnosis of complicated AA

Exclusion criteria

  • • Pregnancy (n=7)
  • Complicated appendicitis secondary to colon caecum (n=2)
  • inflammatory bowel disease (n=4)

  1. appendicular leak
