Inclusion criteria

  • Patients requiring hemodialysis
  • Patients requiring anticoagulation therapy during hemodialysis
  • Written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

  • Hypersensitivity to study medication
  • Genetic abnormality or disease of clotting system
  • Prior major surgery or bleeding
  • Other protocol-defined inclusion/exclusion criteria may apply
