Inclusion criteria

Diabetic macular edema
Criteria for visual acuity and macular thickness are met

Exclusion criteria

History of glaucoma
Known steroid-responder
Use of systemic steroids
Use of Warfarin/Heparin
Other protocol-defined exclusion criteria may apply
