A Clinical Trial to Evaluate the Effects of Super Lungs Liquid Drops on Respiratory Comfort, Airway Soothing, and Overall Well-Being

This is a single-group, open-label, fully decentralized (virtual) clinical trial evaluating the effects of Super Lungs Liquid Drops on respiratory comfort, airway soothing, and overall well-being in generally healthy adults aged 18-65 who experience bothersome respiratory symptoms. All 35 enrolled participants will receive the active study product and self-administer 2 mL of the drops daily (two full droppers of 1 mL each, once daily with the first meal of the day) for 12 weeks.

Inclusion criteria

  • Adults aged 18-65 years.
  • Over the past two months, has experienced bothersome coughing on a weekly basis.
  • Anyone who has experienced issues with at least two of the following over the past four weeks: chest tightness or congestion; persistent throat irritation or itchiness; excess mucus or phlegm buildup.
  • Generally healthy, without any uncontrolled chronic disease.
  • Willing to maintain their current diet, sleep pattern, and activity levels for the duration of the trial.
  • Resides in the United States.
  • Has access to the internet and a device (smartphone, tablet, or computer) capable of completing online questionnaires.
  • Willing to follow the study protocol and complete all required assessments.

Exclusion criteria

  • Anyone with a known allergy or sensitivity to any of the study product ingredients.
  • Anyone with a known allergy to plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae family.
  • Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study period.
  • Anyone currently taking immunosuppressant medications (e.g., cyclosporine, methotrexate, biologics such as adalimumab or infliximab).
  • Anyone with a diagnosed autoimmune disorder (e.g., lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis).
  • Anyone with uncontrolled hypertension or currently taking antihypertensive medications, diuretics, or corticosteroids.
  • Anyone currently taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications (e.g., warfarin, heparin, clopidogrel).
  • Anyone with a chronic health condition that could impact their participation in this study, such as cancer, mental health disorders, a history of serious illness in the last three months, a history of substance abuse, or planned surgery during the study period.
  • Anyone with a history of alcohol use disorder or currently in alcohol recovery.
  • Anyone currently participating in another research study or who plans to participate in another study during the study period. (

Treatment and study plan

Super Lungs Liquid Drops

Dietary Supplement

All 35 participants receive Super Lungs Liquid Drops at 2 mL daily (two full droppers of 1 mL each), administered once daily with the first meal of the day, for 12 weeks.

Primary outcomes

  1. Respiratory comfort

    Time frame: Baseline, Week 2, Week 4, Week 8, and Week 12

    Change in self-reported respiratory comfort assessed by questionnaires.

  2. Normal airway function

    Time frame: Baseline, Week 2, Week 4, Week 8, and Week 12

    Change in self-reported normal airway function assessed by questionnaires.
