Intraoperative Glycemic Variability and Infectious Complications After Liver Transplantation

This study aims to evaluate whether intraoperative glycemic variability (GV) is independently associated with the risk of infectious complications within 30 days after elective liver transplantation. This is an observational study with no intervention beyond standard perioperative care. Glycemic and clinical outcome data will be obtained from routinely collected medical records of patients undergoing liver transplantation at the 2nd Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Medical University of Warsaw.
