Maxillary tray

Participants will get a customized maxillary tray carrying 2 pairs of metal disks with a nanostructured surface. They will wear the trays continuously for 72 hours except when eating, drinking or brushing their teeth. Plaque accumulation on the discs will be subsequently quantified.

Periodontally healthy
Exclusion criteria
Periodontitis patient
Maxillary tray with 4 metal disks with various surface modifications
Time frame: 72 hours
Amount of dental plaque accumulation will be assessed in the laboratory
